MISSION STATEMENT:

To provide for animals, large and small, that which they cannot achieve for themselves.

The Bumper Foundation is a 501 c 3 non-profit animal rescue organization.

We saves animal’s lives. Whether an 11th hour telephone call about an animal on death row-

or about abused, abandoned, mistreated or missing animals.

The Bumper Foundation jumps in.

Every animal we rescue receives the finest medical attention, loving care, and safe comfortable housing within our network of foster parents and kennels.

When the animal is ready we begin our search to find a qualified home.

We match people’s life styles and preferences with our dog’s qualities.

We want all of our dogs, and their prospective new families, to be happy so our application process is thorough and includes a home inspection and an adoption questionaire thats available in the “Forms” section of this site.

When the process is complete, the dogs go to their new forever home. We offer on-going support and nutritional and behavioral consultation

The Bumper Foundation is dedicated to making animal’s lives happier and healthier in Los Angeles by creating a new paradigm by which animal needs are met in the 21st century.

Our Education Goals:

To inform the public about the necessity of spaying and neutering their pets to eliminate overpopulation in Los Angeles.

We can do this!

If everyone works together we can eliminate pet overpopulation in Los Angeles and the United States.

To teach alternative techniques and complimentary methods of health care and nutrition for healthier pets.

OTHER SERVICES:

The Bumper Foundation also shares information and resources with many Independent Rescue Groups. We offer them a place to show their animals and contribute organizational assistance, web resources, and consultation services from our years of animal care expertise.

We ‘re here for the well- being of all animals.

Volunteer Opportunities:

We’re open 365 days a year and always are in need of hands on volunteers to work with our furry kids or to help with fund raising.
